Images are pervasive in contemporary life, especially in virtual form in the digital media. Online, images drift in the stream, detached from their origins, history and authorship. Truth and fiction blur. They are in limbo.
I’ve extracted two photographic images from the Internet flow. One is the altered twin of the other. Their subject matter is complex.
Using slow and analogue processes of drawing and object making to rework the photographs, I anchor the un-tethered Internet images, to reveal and form a record of the present moment.
